My turbo blew which will cost me £3k all in if I went with LR parts.
Auto group paying out just why of £1k but using turbo from "Essex turbos"

They try and get out of everything the . I paid £550 for the year so at least I've saved myself £500

My warranty's with The Auto Group too. My handbrake module went recently along with my coolant sensor. They forked out £65 for a new coolant bottle, but was told I was on my own for the £600(!) EHB module as "handbrake and mechanisms" aren't covered.My warranty is just shy of £700 for the "platinum" (or whatever they're top line is) cover.

Problem is for me, mine's a 58-plate with now 83k on the clock. TAG seem to cover the most for the age / mileage after checking with a couple of other warranty providers. I guess they're like any other insurance provider at the end of the day.

I've spoken to my local RR specialist who advised they have a comprehensive cover for £1500 which will replace using Land Rover parts. May take them up on that moving forward

Get LR's extended warranty. It covers pretty much all of the expensive stuff. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
