Gear box oil change and reset on 2010 3.0

Hello.

Been on a few forums over the years and this one looks great and very informative.

I've recently bought a 2010 tdv6 HSE and due to a tad of OCD I am replacing every fluid possible and for my own piece of mind.

Well so far I have changed all the fluids but the gearbox. I have 7 litres of zF lifeguard 6 ready and waiting. Before I start this I have heard that I need the gearbox reset after due to new slip times and so on. Will this be the case or as I'm just changing half the oil it will just self learn if I take it easy for a bit?
