Speed Alert

At the risk of being laughed at, i am fairly sure my RRS 1 had the function wherby you could set the car to alert you when you exceeded a set speed.

Is this feature not available on the RRS 2? 2019 Urban Urus - May Delivery. Gone to the dark side...

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

ASL won't warn you that you are exceeding the speed that you set , it simply will not let the car exceed the set speed! It's a kind of cruise control I suppose and it might be even better for your license than just a gong.............. I've never used it as I think it could be dangerous as there are times when you might want to accelerate quickly to a higher speed than the speed that you have set. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

If you have TSR you can get the symbol to flash if you exceed the limit by a specified amount.

Thanks guys, will give ASL a go and see how i get on as unfortunately I didn't get TSR which in hindsight wasn't the best idea to leave it out. 2019 Urban Urus - May Delivery. Gone to the dark side...

Better still if you run an Android Phone, Speed cameras by Sygic is the ducks guts. You can set over limit warnings, and it also warns on speed and red light cameras. For $5 it is the best car app I have used. The app also has a HUD function , crash camera and other neat futures. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.
