It's the traffic that kills the consumption. Mind you, would you prefer the diesel? Evoque HSE Dynamic

Roughly 17mpg over a tank of mixed driving. I'm not light with him. It's quite hilly around here which hurts consumption too. I reckon it's about 2 mpg better than my old 4.2 and quite a lot quicker. What a motor Cheers,

Was that achieved in Sport mode or had you been using D and thus letting the gear box shift up to 6th? IIRC if you use Sport mode then 6th is locked out unless you use the paddles to shift up 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Using paddles in S mode, like you say, to get 6th and also more engaging drive. Evoque HSE Dynamic

Anywhere between 9 and 19 usually get around 200 mls. to the tank. Drive it like it's meant to be driven, just like you stole it.

I get 25 MPG average in my 3.0 TDV6. Shocking, really. I reckon I would get 15 MPG if I went 5.0 SC... very tempting given my low mileage. But I honestly don't think I need the extra performance (don't laugh!) as I am used to the 3.0 now. When I first changed from my XKR it was a shock initially, but the 3.0 has plenty of oomph for the few seconds you need it before it wheezes to 4500 rpm and hunts around for the next gear. I'd probably most want a 5.0 for the soundtrack. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

I got 24 with a set of ideal conditions really, steady 40mph and slight decline for 20 minutes or so. I drive to station every day and back (2 miles) starting from cold normally get 14-15 on this shuttle. Overall I'm probably getting about 16-17mpg 70/30 town/dual carriageway.

I also average 12MPG in my 4.2 SC . I unfortunately only drive short distances to work and dont tend to drive looking at the MPG figures. I cant wait to upgrade to the 5.0 SC in a year or two. Seems crazy that it seems slightly more frugal than the 4.2 |
