Hello all, I've been trying to pair my new mobile to my '08 RRS and although it always seems to pair up initially, every 10-20secs or so it removes itself then re-attaches constantly and also won't pick up my contacts or call log etc. My last phone (Sony Z1) didn't have any probs like this and I've done the usual googling to no avail... does anyone have any ideas, please?

Have you tried it using another 'phone since this problem started?

Have you tried a hard reset?

Are you always switching ignition on - allowing the car to go through checks and then starting?

If still no go you need to contact Bodsy or Wiggs via the site. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Thanks for getting back to me mate - I haven't tried another phone since getting the new one and always let the car go through it's checks before starting the engine. I was speaking to a friend today who suggested older cars probably run on version 2 of Bluetooth, whereas newer phones will probably be using version 3 of Bluetooth, so I guess that might be something to do with it... hopefully I can sort this soon! Cheers again.

I suspect an updated module will be required, the two names mentioned above can sort you out

The reconnect of 2121 drive me crazy. I would never thought someone in UK can fix my issue. Thanks to Bodsy, he sent me a BT module, it took less than five minutes to install. No more reconnect, and the phone list is also downloaded on the screen.
