HELP! How to Remove Spare Wheel?

Hello, first I will take this oppurtunity to introduce myself. My Name is Brian Johnson, I live in Kent and I love my RRS. I also have a problem.

I need to remove the spare wheel from the underside of my RRS but do not know how to do so. I bought the car second hand last year without the owners manual, therefore I have no clue on how to remove the spare.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Brian.

It is lowered by the bolt underneath the floor in the rear of the boot, use the wheel brace.

Thanks, that does help. I assumed you had to do it from under the car as I was looking and it looks as if it would be possible from down there. Isn't this a bit insecure?

Cheers for the help.

Once you have lowered the spare, be very careful when winding the wire back up. There is a post about what to watch out for over on our sister forums www.Disco3.co.uk 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

You access the bolt to work the winch from inside the car, lift the panel in the boot floor... Cheers
