United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Stornoway Grey

I looked into these and yes, legally your car has to be pre 1973.

They only seem to look good on cars with old style plates anyway, a modern one just doesn;t look right.

You can still buy them on the web though, no matter what age your reg. L319 D4 HSE

Like this on my old disco?

I have had these plates on plenty of cars and have never once been stopped for them - I think the police may assume you to be from the Isle of Man Rolling Eyes

Try these guys -simply order them and they send 'em

They are NOT legal ..........

As is mis- spacing the letters or using the wrong fonts!

Mind you it's illegal to talk on a mobile whilst driving - but people still do.

Its illegal to not seat your young child correctly in your car - but you'd be amased at how many don't Shocked

Its against the law to eat/drink whlilst driving .......

Its against the law to drive with your FOG lights on when the conditions are fine .........

But having said all this - it depends where you live, as each counties Police force have different views on enforcing the law Confused

London police are more on the ball than anyone due to terrorist threats. Also the cameras that read your plate for the congestion charge might have a problem (Which is probably a good thing)

When I had my new reg put on my sport I was stopped on the way back from the local DVLA office because the new plate hadn't hit the police system yet - I showed them all the paper work and off I went, just goes to show how much technology is in police cars nowadays and if you've nothing to hide you should be fine.

With the black plates I would avoid them simply because you would be bringing attention to yourself. Spend the money on the latest edition of Nuts instead - a far better investment. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
