United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Santorini Black
newcomer nerves

Purchasing a 2010 autobiography tdv8 3.6, however after joining this forum and reading lots of posts I wonder if maybe the users can answer a few questions

It has 46500 miles is this good or bad
Comes with a Benfield 12 month warranty
What problems can I expect, I wont be doing off roading just driving out to countryside with my 2 red setters
What is the actual round the doors mileage

I have already purchased the wheel cover from RLD for the spare wheel

Extended warranty can anyone recommend the best

Is there any questions I need to ask the dealer before I part with my current car and a lump of cash?

all answers welcome RRS TDV8 MY2010 AUTOBIOGRAPHY-Living The Dream

Wavey you are not guaranteed to have a problem you know . I never had any issues in over two years and it's a fantastic machine - go and enjoy . Btw the best warranty is a Land Rover one . Thumbs Up

It doesn't matter what you buy these days, they all have their little faults (ok some big ones too), read any enthusiasts forum and there'll be endless tales of woe and wallet bashing. If we avoided all vehicles that had problems, we'd have to build wider footpaths.
Go for it, and when you're driving down the road grinning from ear to ear (because you will), everything will be fine. Go and enjoy. Very Happy
Oh and don't forget the pics when you get it Thumbs Up

Enjoy your purchase, you'll be grining like a Cheshire Cat every time you drive it.

Don't listen to the likes of 4x4byfar. He's not in a position to advise, he's never even driven or sat in one but would absolutely love one. The poor lads not in a position to buy but is looking around scrapyards and auctions in the hope of picking one up for his budget of 1k for a write off, just so he can own one.

He's built himself a Lego one and the bits keep falling off, he's lost so much money on it already.

I've just bought exactly the same as you're buying wavey, and you're in for a treat; it's brilliant.

I've owned a couple of TDV8's before and had no problems whatsoever, forums aren't the best place to be reassured, they're normally full of faults and issues but once you get past those they're a good source of information.

Ah.. first night nerves.

Yep, I was exactly the same, worried by all the possible problems. I've had mine about a year now, and I've fixed a few things, but all were related to it being 9 years old, and 93Kmiles. All the information is on here, and I used Bodsy's brake bible to fix the EPB, and forum sticky to change the seals on the compressor. Bow down

But other than that, it's been great. We're off to the Pyrenees in the summer in it.
