Uneven Suspension on 2012 RRS, 25k

Hi Guys
Very happy with my recent RRS purchase, love the car, love the look.

One thing that i noticed when following my wife the other day is that the car seams to lean to the OS when following and when in my mirror. A quick check between the wheel arch and the tyre on each side shows around 25mm difference at Normal ride height.

It is noticeable and has started to annoy me! Mad ...i did notice it at the dealer at the first viewing and asked them to look into it, but when we returned to pick it up i couldn't really notice it.

Looking on this forum i see lots of suspension issues and (in a 30 mins look) found one a year ago where Ady 555 mentions a Software update which would cure this.

Wondered if anyone else has had this and fixed it.

Thanks Frax
Yeah, i will for sure, but was wondering out of curiosity what the root cause and fix is? I guess there must be more cars with the same symptoms out there that have been fixed, and hopefully on this forum.

Just an update on this.
LR dealer identified the lean on the suspension as a dodgy YAW sensor. It was reading -0.4 when level and not reading correctly when car was jacked up on one side to test it. Trouble is it's located deep in the bowels of the car under the centre console. Good news is warranty paying for it. Dealer quoted £600 for new sensor and fitting.

Will get the car back tomorrow and hopefully that will be that.

For anyone looking at this thread and wondering what happened....

Dealer replaced the YAW sensor under the centre console for around £600 under warranty. The car still has on average a lean of between 5 and 10mm to the left but better than its was. Using LR measuring tool to verify and speaking to a mechanic at LR the calibration system simply assumes its calibrated 10mm or under. So according to LR its fixed. I'm satisfied with that and I can see that the suspension system constantly works at keeping it level so every measurement will be different each time. This was proven stood in the carpark at the dealers.

Happy with it now. Thumbs Up

Hope this helps someone else. 2015 RRS AB SDV6, Fuji White, Ivory
