Driver side mirror not returning to memory position

Hi guys,

This is minor but somewhat annoying ..

When I park I generally pull the mirrors in if I remember (as a side , is there a way I can get this done automatically),
and I also have set the mirrors to dip when in reverse (I already scraped the wheels on the kerb before I discovered this).

Anyway.. Sometimes, and not every time, when I get in and flip the switch to pull the mirrors back out, the driver side one isn't getting set to the correct position, it's quite a bit low.
I have set it correctly with the memory seats, but I'm the only driver.

Any ideas?

Cheers, John

Very common issue thanks to duff seat memory modules; I've just turned mine off. Sadly the only way of getting the mirrors to fold automatically is the old fashioned way - i.e. hard-wired into the a door solenoid (IMO, not worth the effort).

You mean you turned off the reverse dip? Cos it seems to be the pulling out the mirrors when i see it happen.
