Hi John, no problem at all mate, hopefully you won't need it but the same offer is there for the loom if you do. I spent £500 getting them all working again just for them to annoy the Censored out of me every morning when I'm leaving my drive!! Smile

Im about to investigate the parking aid issue on my 08 RRS. Am going to try to have a listen for the clicking first. If it sounds like a faulty sensor would I be able to take advantage of your kind offer too, denlaa?

Stethoscope ?

You could try putting a drinking glass over it and put you ear against it? Might be a silly idea but it works for listening to your neighbors through the wall haha. 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.2 s/c with Arden bodykit

Sorted mine. In the end it was the drivers side corner one.

It wasnt clicking at all where the others were. The clicking is loud enough to hear over the engine ticking over.

What a Censored to remove though! I took the fog lamp out and tried to push it out from inside the bumper. In the end I had to tease it out with some trim removal tools then wrap wire around the sensor under the lip and pull.

There has to be an easier way!?

Anyway, once its out the sensor just unclips from its housing and pushes back in. Dead easy! Thumbs Up

Did you pull it out the front of the bumper, or did you push it thru back into the bumper? I can't work out which way to go.

Cheers for the reply

Managed to remove my sensor last night through the Fog Lamp hole Thumbs Up and its a straight one Valeo part number YDB 500301.
When I was listening for the clicking I had switched the car of in either Forward or Reverse with wheels chocked and then turned ignition back on till dash lit up and could hear the sensors better with no engine noise.

I have bad ears though Laughing

Cheers Jock

Re. Parking Sensor

Hi there from what I remember I pulled them out from the front of the Bumper. Think they had a couple of small legs that need pushed in to do this though.

Think it was quite awkward to squeeze these in through the Fog Lamp hole but you just have to persevere.

Thumbs Up

Thanks for replying. In the end I managed to remove the headlight and get a bar down to lift a clip and then use a punch to knock it back into the bumper. I still have the scars!

Parking sensors??

Gday all, thanks for all the helpful tips on here. I have the inactive parking sensors message on my dash. I have changed the front off side sensor and now they are all clicking front and back but I am still getting the message and flashing switch on the dash. I have just replaced the battery and now disconnected it to see if that will clear the fault??

Does anyone have any further advice what else I need to check/do as all sensors are clicking?

Thanks Steve
