Richard - am I right in thinking you want to retro fit a Bluetooth system, if so probably easier to fit a third party set up like a Parrot. If it's compatible phones for an existing system then you would be looking at Nokia phones. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Richchad I have the basic Parrot system 3000 Evolution and it works excellently in my RRS You may need an external speaker for this system the other Parrot systems are even better. Richard - basically do you have the green & red telephone symboled knobs on your steering wheel? IF yes your car is BT enabled and a Nokia would be your best bet. The list of BT supported phones is on the LR website, not many listed but basically the LR system is a Nokia system and modern Nokias should work. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Ask Envoy - he has a MY06 with the red and green buttons on his steering wheel. However the phone does not see a BT connection. Has tried different phones including mine (which works on my RRS) but still no luck.

VA, no Red & Green telephone buttons on steering wheel, I guess you only get these if you have the PTI option So does that mean none of the Bluetooth phones will work with the car until I retro fit something like Parrot? What advantage is something like that compared to just using a Bluetooth phone and earpiece? Gone - RRSPORT TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue/Ivory, Privacy Glass, Tasmods Sills, Supercharged Black Badges all round, Grille & Vents, plus RRSport Sticker & Brolly of course. |

Richchad - you will need a third party option. The advantage of this over an earpiece is that you can have it installed so that when a call comes in/goes out the sound comes over the stereo system. The system will mute the stereo. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Its worth doing properly. In my last car I used to use the Tom Tom with the bluetooth facility. I could hear the caller but they had difficulty hearing me even with the remote microphone installed.
