I bought a 2010 TDV8 end of last year with a FLRSH. On collecting the car I noticed that the very last service stamp was not present. The specialist dealer offered to have it stamped and post the service book to me together with the service invoice.......it has now apparently gone missing.

I phoned a local LR dealer and they were very helpful but could not find any records on the LR system.

What now?......help please, any thoughts?

The car is a beaut otherwise - I am absolutely loving it - 58k miles since new.

Seems odd that LR have no record- can you remember which dealer did the services and maybe contact them directly? You'll have a nightmare selling it on if you've got no record of any servicing for 6 years.

The car was first registered in Peterborough - I phoned Marshalls but they had no record.

From memory the car had a 3 services at the same dealers in Berkshire? - I thought it was Maidenhead but have not started ringing around.

I am waiting for the car dealer who sold me the car to come with a solution - it's their problem to solve - but yes, I am suitably worried about resolving. The FLRSH was one of the reasons I bought the car.

I'm sure the dealer will sort it out- they should be able to contact the previous owner to find out where it was done,
