2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Everything for an RRS is expensive, not just a starter motor, Land Rover views it's customers as people who have money to throw away and is very happy to take it off them for even the smallest and cheaply made parts, it it has a Land Rover oval stamped on it or moulded into it then the price goes up at least 100% over the price of the same part bought directly from the OEM supplier. Thule Roofracks and equipment is a case in point but also footwell mats, engine oil and a host of other parts and consumables, but we still love to spend on branded gear and moan about it incessantly on forums like this! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Interestingly parts for Japanese cars are more expensive here in Australia than parts for European cars. Pricing for Landrover accessories are silly prices though. It's as if they don't want sell them here in Australia. RRS P460e

Nice 2013 Freelander TD4 manual (for daughter to learn on) with much better stereo compared with previous SD4 SE with Meridian which sounded bad!

Australia 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Fuji White

Yes the option list is long like the menu at a chinese restaurant. I got HSE SDV6 225 kW 700nm then just kept adding things. 23 options at last count. But I now have the car I wanted with its bells and whistles and great towing and off road ability. Yes I go off road and tow a 3200kg caravan. It is one capable vechicle.

Well I think I have found a car. SVD8 Dynamic with Stealth pack MY15.5 dealer demo with 34 months warranty left. Don't want the 22 inch wheels though. Early stages and need to work out finances yet.

Colour is White, well white to me most likely has some Land Rover Name. Not full bottle on all the options yet , saw the vehicle had the main features I was interested in and I went away and thought about it. Now to see dealer tomorrow and discuss the finer points.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

There are two whites, Fuji which is very white and then a metallic grey/white called Yulong. There is a post I put up showing two evoques parked next to each other that shows the difference nicely. http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic42916.html
A suggestion......... take the car with the 22" wheels, you would be amazed how well it rides on them as it was designed to run with them. I have them on my HSE Dynamic but I also have a set of 21" for winter tyres and 20" for ATR's for offroad use, although so far the ATR's have never been used and all the offroading has been done on 22" 100% road biased wheels and tyres............. the auto TR and ediffs just keep it going regardless of the tyre and wheel although I suspect that if I went into deep mud/ sand I would soon get stuck on the 22" wheel tyre combo. The 21's I have are the SVR wheels with M&S pattern tyres. When I really want to go dirty and rough then I can play in my Defender 90 though and not risk damage to the vulnerable bits of the RRS. If you don't like the 22's then you can always sell them on here or ebay to recover your costs. Having had black wheels on my last evoque I would never spec them again, terrible to keep clean and scuffs show up really really well as they are only black coated........... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yes Fuji white I believe. Aussie roads are pretty ruff and I think with 22 inch one might spend a lot of time getting the rims fixed. Anyway will see what transpires , haven't signed yet and now seem to have dealers every where calling saying they have a deal just got a price on a fully Specked 2016 was $10,000 more but a newer car with more options so will see , firstly couldn't find many now there seems to be good choices.

My R50 looks like it is sold, 2.5.times the price dealer offered and only took a week. Now to screw the same bastards down on a new car. I have two choices so far:-

15.5 SVD8 HSE Dynamic with Stealth pack $160 K or 2016 HSE Dynamic with winter pack $170 k

I am drawn to the 2016 because as standard you

get TMPS , Headlights that turn , New rear door that opens with your foot , and then some other things that come in the pack.

Just seems for the extra money I'd be better with the later car as these things depreciate like a brick.
