2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Firenze Red

I had it done on my wife's Mini Cooper SD.

She drives less than 5 miles a day most weeks so aside from me driving it hard every couple of weeks I thought it would be a good thing to try.

It seemed to make a difference in terms of mpg and how it drove- it's funny I've been thinking of getting the sport done recently.

You'll probably have some say the engine will blow up or your exhaust fall of ( or some such claim), but I did allot of research before I got the Mini done- as it was just coming it of warranty but I didn't find anyone who had had any issues from it.

If I recall I paid about £90 or so to get it done- was it worth it? Only time will tell!

That said if I get mine done, I will post up,here with before and after mpg and emissions figures.

I had my T5 done a few years ago and noticed the difference straight away, the engine seemed to spin up far quicker and there was a noticeable reduction in engine noise. Fuel consumption didn't really change as I drove it quicker.

Sounds promising, the prices round here seem to be 110 - 120 plus VAT so may have a look at it as we only do relatively short journeys

I own a Garage, and we have the Terraclean machines. Benefits include - better mpg, more responsive throttle, better emissions. When I did my old TDV8, it made it quieter and smoother, but only raised the mpg by around 0.9 (according to the dash display). Also it can be good for preventative maintenance, cleaning things that haven't gone wrong yet!

Pricewise, under 2 litre is £90+vat (£108), over 2 litre £110+vat (£132).

If you require any more info, just give me a shout Thumbs Up 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

Look forward to the results, in the mean time I've added some Archoil 6400 to 45 litres of fuel

I've been slating this terrorclean for ages now based on the principle. Where does the dirt go? what happens to any loose products of combustion? Anyway will await DiscoMikeys report back. I'm not convinced that its any more than a placebo effect. (17yrs qualified diesel engineer) Present-2008 RRS TDV8 HST

The Terraclean process atomises carbon deposits, so effectively turns the carbon into vapour, which is in turn exits through the exhaust.

I have done 200-300 Terracleans, and I always ask for feedback when they have driven the car for a few weeks/miles. Everyone who has had it done has seen improvements in at least one area, whether it be MPG or throttle response etc.

It is very easy to slate this product - but I find 99% of people who do - haven't had it done Rolling with laughter 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

Is that the Royal 'We'? I must have been lucky because it certainly made a difference to my T5 and other blokes I know who've had it done on other vehicles have said it works well.

It atomises carbon deposits? Can you point me in the direction of a full scientific breakdown of the process with factual video/picture evidence completed under laboratory conditions. Cheers. Present-2008 RRS TDV8 HST
