One dealer advised changing the ARB bushes, the other said it's better to replace the whole arms as the cost is almost the same? Any thoughts? |

Hi, just had the front anti roll bar bushes done on mine last week by my local indie. He recommended that the bolts and brackets are replaced at the same time. All in, £223. Sorted out the squeaking suspension problem and the knocking I could feel under the front footwell and drives like a different motor now. 2008 Supercharged Stornaway Grey, 22inch black Stormers

Ok, I'm confused, perhaps my technical understanding of how the RRS is configured is lacking.

The body doesn't need lifted to fit the front ARC bar A new bar also comes with new bushes and clamps But I am also confused. Are we discussing ARBs or wishbones? |

Edited my post to use anti-roll bar instead of 'arm'

To add on the above, I've been quoted £1122 to replace BOTH lower arms (front suspension). |

Not quite. Paddi was saying that replacement of the ACE/DR roll bar is expensive. Replacement of the FL wishbones is not hugely expensive (but they generally need cutting out), and should be far less than you've been quoted. You will need a full alignment afterwards. My advice is to find a good indy instead... Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 Auto HSE Zambezi Silver |
