Hi, old member wanting to come back to the fold after a sojourn with Volvo (sorry!)

I'm very keen on a new SDV6 3.0 with pretty basic spec and the way I like to buy a new car is to get an idea of how much money I'd be chucking away over my ownership term. I know most of us prefer to hide that figure but that's just the way I roll.

Now the RRS has been around 2 plus years does anyone have any ideas what sort of PEx values Dealers are offering for trade ins for these cars against new at the moment?

A rough guess at the depreciation would be around the £8000 per year mark.

Jim put it in with bmw on my current car got 3k more I'm looking at changing again soon quite like the look of the new F-pace just waiting to get confirmation for a VIP invite to Edinburgh love the RRS but don't do many miles that's why I cancelled the SVR I had ordered after talking to the salesman but who knows what is next ? 2016 bmw x5 40d m-sport space grey

Offered £57,500 last week on my Nov 13 Autobiography with a few bits added (rear seat entertainment, 7 seats etc). Done 32,000 miles. Was for part ex on a year old Vogue. Was offered £62,500 by same dealer a month before on similar car but he couldn't remember saying that...in truth think the £57,500 was fair.

Last week - Was offered £63 by one stealer, who told me it was only booking at £55k!! and a £66k from a private buyer; Will let it go at the next sensible offer.
