emission light

Just done short trip to shops & yellow emission light came on ,no fault code, went out on way home but now back on , anyone any ideas ? is it ok to drive ? 2007 2.7diesel hse

It'll almost certainly be the EGR valve. Surprised you don't have a fault code. What are you using to read them?

Blank them off and have the EGR blank software update. I can do this for you if you are interested.

EGR valves are approx £220 per side plus fitting if you really wanted to not blank them. Bodsys Brake Bible
