Phonebook from Steering Wheel?

Hi,

I have just upgraded my RRS to the 2012 model. I am wondering if it is possible to scroll through the numbers in my phonebook by using the steering wheel control buttons. I've tried but to no avail. Anyone got the answer?

Thanks

Hi Phil,

I have just been through the manual looking for this as was wondering the same- seems you can only use the dangerous method of playing with the convoluted touchscreen, or use the voice commands. Voice commands may well lead to insanity as it seems you have to add a "voice tag" to each name so the system can recognise the number you want to dial.
My 2007 Audi S3 I had a few years ago wins hands down regarding this nonsense ;-(
Probably better to use the old fashioned method of stopping the car to make a call. Ye gods!

cheers
Si

Press and hold Green Phone Connect Button, should bring up Phone Book. Then use L/H Steering Wheel Control to scroll Up And Down List.

Cheers
