Just how good are these vehicles?

I love this video (and a number of the others by the same people). This one shows some serious mud plugging in Oz with an RRS, D4, D2 and a little Suzuki.

It's fun to see the RRS and the D2 struggling at times when the D4 seems to be taking it all in its stride. Then you realise the RRS and D2 were towing the Suzuki through the worst of the mess!

An example of how good the RRS/Disco Terrain Response system is, see this vid of a D4 on road tyres in some pretty "fun" conditions.

I wish I could get a front bumper like that for the RRS! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Gibraltar 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Stornoway Grey

Pop down to Solihull and try a Landrover Experience. I did a whole day for my 50th, the morning with a RRS the afternoon with a Discovery 4. I was amazed. Well worth the money for the day and a real eye opener. My favourite obstacle The 2 flights of Stairs!

Regards

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I think tyre choice has a massive effect, I got my rrs fairly stuck on a mildly boggy green lane the other week, got it out, but had to use a bit more momentum than I would have liked and was worried I would have to find a farmer with a tractor.
