TURBO & POSSIBLE ENGINE FAILURE !!!!!

Hi All,
Can anyone recommend a good LR specialist in Birmingham to sort my RRS out. Turbo failed this morning lost all power and oil is now coming from bottom of airbox Censored so it seems turbo has pulled some oil into intake system, but have no idea if its damaged engine "hopefully not".

Any good garage recommendations welcome Crying or Very sad

Sorry to hear about that. Sounds as if the turbo oil seals have blown and oil was being pumped into the induction side. Do not start the engine. Have the car winched on to a flatbed and taken for repair.

Starting the engine is very likely to pump oil into the cylinders causing hydraulic lock, bent con rod(s) broken pistons or worse. Unless of course that has already happened.

Nice; just in time for Christmas! 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

The last 3 TDV8's I have replaced turbos on, have all had pretty major misfires, for the initial diagnostic/confirmation

All 3 of those had 2 turbos only, all 3 ran beautifully, and all 3 are still going fine

I don't know why they misfired, unless it was because one of the turbos had seized ,and was impeding air flow out the engine Confused

car was recovered home by an AA flatbed, until I decide where to take it.

I was planning to do the handbrake actuator which failed on Friday, but turbo / engine job is the main priority now. don't have the time to do it myself, so I wanto be sure I send it to someone who is recommended.

I had the front diff rebuilt a few weeks ago, but the car came back to me leaking engine oil from the turbo drain which had been damaged when the put the diff back in also the diff was louder than before it was supposedly fixed !!!! I promptly made the garage recover car back to them to sort it which they have done. but I am not 100% sure whether to send to them again to repair turbos and engine Confused
