22" wheels and 40 series profile advise

I'm looking at buying a set of 22" wheels for my rrs. Question is instead of going for 35 profile can I go up 5mm to a 40 profile. If so will it effect the speedo at all or the drive train? Thumbs Up

The speedo will read differently but not by a huge amount. The transmission etc. shouldn't care either way. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It's not 5mm difference it's 5% of the tyre depth so "40" is 40% of 285 which is 114mm as opposed to 35% of 285 which is 100mm.

I was going to put 40's on mine but the price of tyres were a lot more expensive so I kept to 35's.
