I"m not in the UK at the moment, but had an email from home to say that the River Forth at Aberfoyle has burst it's banks and has flooded the village which is now cut off and as has the River Teith at Callander, means that the Kerse of Stirling will be pretty well under water too. The water where I am is "only" 1200m deep and we are well equipped to deal with it having no wheels and a very large inboard engine! http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/details/s...RSK_PATRAS 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Looked like Keswick was pretty close to flooding they have a newish flood barrier like a clear glass wall on top of a 5 wall. The water was halfway up the glass. Like looking in a gold fish bowl.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

I watched a bloke drown his 65 reg Mercedes E class this afternoon near Accrington! He drove into the flooded dip in the road way too fast; the water was really deep so not surprised really! |
