I have an annoying rattle that seems to come from rear of the car. I have climbed in the back and tried to find anything that may feel loose, but I can't find anything.
It makes the squeak/rattle when going over speed bumps , tough roads etc,
It sounds as if it may be coming from the upper window part of the rear hatch, or the spoiler.

Have you been cleaning the rubber seal around the tailgate? If so, what with?

If using any kind of silicone based cleaners on the rubbers usually causes your doors or tailgate to rub squeak or rattle.

As you suspect it is coming from the tailgate area, it might be worth reading this thread. This was the solution to the squeaky tailgate in my first Sport. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Also, in the early days of RRS, there was an issue with the tailgate gas strut bolts that secures the struts to the body working loose and IIRC this was indicated by a difficult to locate rattle in the tailgate area, there was a TSB issued for it and it seems hard to belive that a car might have been missed in all those years but might be worth having a check of those as well.. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
