Was going to sell up a year ago as I lost faith in the brand a bit. But the initial teething problems seemed to abate so I decided to keep it. But I'm now thinking of upgrading to a newer sport, as I'm conscious that mine is now over 10 years old and getting difficult to get a meaningful warranty for.
So ones caught my eye, it's a 60 plate, 30000 miles or so and is up for for £27631 at a main dealer. It's black, has a sunroof which is a must for me, and rear seat entertainment.
I'll be part exing the current sport, 55 plate 2.7 HSE with 72000. Outstanding condition, full history and no faults, was thinking 12-13 k as part ex- or am I miles off? Don't normally do the part ex thing and would normally sell privately, but can't be bothered with the hassle really. I may advertise on here once I've got a part ex price- but I'm not sure here is the best place to sell, especially an old one.
Thoughts?

If you get offered more than £10k trade in I'd be pleasantly surprised - with that mileage & condition it should sell very easy with little hassle If you make £1k - atleast you can spoil your new purchase with new mats - led bulbs - insurance & a few other trinkets

I would think that PX would be around 9k at that age but I am only guessing based on recent family experiences in the UK with slightly higher miles, but I am a long way from that market.

As above ^^^^^ - worth checking ^^^^^ I've just revisited all the approved small print & it doesn't mention vehicles over 5 years old BUT does say "ALL APPROVED USED VEHICLES" come with 2 years warranty & other enhancements - i would be complaining if its not mentioned specifically before purchase

Yes it might say all approved vehicles,,but the one Bladeboy is getting might not be approved so only 12 month warranty may be given.

Also with the car that you are trading in, possible that an LR dealership will not be too interested as they cannot put a 10 year old car on their forecourt as an "LR Approved Used" IIRC. You might get a better price from a non franchised LR specialist or selling privately. The problem is the age of the car, regardless of the condition it is in. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
