Hi welcome to the madhouse

Afraid not, if it is the same set up as the TDV6 the fuel burning heater kicks in below 5 degress automaticly.
The makers of the FBH (Webasto) do a timer / remote kit that can be fitted but it works out very expensive.

Good luck with your new car, the TDV8 sounds like it is awsome. Cool

On cold mornings the FBH warms the engine and the interior of the car quicker than if you didn't have one

Did this on my Disco 2003. the timer is easy to fit & also cuts out the interior alarm sensor when it works. The timer has 3 on sittings & works for 59 mins max to conserve battery power. Cost me £230 & fitted myself in under 2hours. Excellent bit of kit warm car, no ice & warm engine, less wear as the engine is warm when you start it.

You can also get a remote key fob & for the really Bling Masters a kit to allow you to "phone it ON" from your mobile!

Need a contact No @ Webasto.....let me know.

Afraid it is not as easy with the D3 / RSS, if you look on Dsico3.co.uk you will find loads of threads on this matter.

Hi Birdy, you lucky devil, i was speaking to my LR dealer the other day and they tell me that on the 2007 models the heater will be programable, when it is then you will be able to have it retro fitted to the earlier models.

My company is amongst other things is a Webasto dealer so i will look into getting the programming kit. i will keep you informed Very Happy some of my Previous cars
