TDv8 HSE Spec

The local dealer has no leaflets/ brochure with RRS Tdv8 spec in it, the LR Website doesn't have the TDv8 HSE specs on it and when I phoned LR Brochure Line they weren't sure if their brochures had the full spec in it or if it is a "taster" type brochure............. so can any of you who have them on order answer the following:
1) Active rear diff, is it standard or an option?
2) Adaptive Headlights - standard or option?
3) Adaptive Cruise - Standard or option?
4) PTi ?
5) Brembos and 20" wheels/ Dynamic pack - are they standard?
6) Would any with Venture Shield Film recommend it..... I don't have it on my current Sport and it hasn't suffered any stone chips, just being brushed by a lorry and venture film would not have helped there!
7) Dealer is trying to flog of some sort of paint protection coating (Diamond Brite or something??) - as I want to buy a white car next would it be worth it.
8 ) Privacy Glass - is it optional or standard
And for everybody who has sold on their RRS, is RRS colour senstive (OK I know nobody wants Maya and everybody wants Java or Zambesi - but I don't see too many Zermatts!). And everybody thinks Giverny is a great colour but only about 6 people in the UK have every bought one! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

My spec anf price sheets are RoW so they might be different here, but this is what they say:

-active rear diff - optional
-adaptive headlights - optional
-adaptive cruise not an option on any car on my list
-dynamic pack - std but with 19" alloys
-privacy glass - optional

the list has a column for UK list price - I can send it to you if you like

Fiona - sounds just the thing for me - I hate polishing cars, don't mind washing them though........................ have heeps of polishing kits in my garage - Zymol, Maguiers etc all gathering dust. Don't know why I buy them coz I never seem to get round to using them! Smile Maybe I'll apply some Zymol clay bar and Zymol Polishes to my Def over the winter as it deperately needs to have the scratches polished out. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Well..................................................... maybe! I recently told the local dealer that he could use the option slot that I had on an early build, for somebody else. But after making some inquiries it would appear that if I want one for mid 2007 when my current car is 2 y.o and when I normally change my cars then I should really be ordering it NOW - there is a long queue apparrently - either that or the dealer has somebody lined up for an RRS TDv6 SE in Giverny Green and they cannot wait! Christmas is coming and maybe there are folks out there who cannot wait to get their hands on a TDv6! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think there's still no shortage of people who want the TDV6. Mine was snapped up by someone from France of all places - whether that means there's none in France, I'm not sure, but my broker said he's still got clients who want one now as opposed to having to wait for delivery which is still 2 or 3 months away.

Do you have a job lot of Rimini paint? Very Happy Joking aside I saw a Rimini RRS with Privacy glass and 20" wheels out here and I had to give it a double take and admire it as drove past. A very nice colour that I think works well in the N European climate.

Wouldn't buy one myself however as I couldn't stomach the unnecessary depreciation. But if you are buying as long termer and you like it, why not?

Do you think the paint will fade in years to come?

Thanks for all the info LR Dealer from Kent it is most useful. I have been at the local dealer with my options this afternoon and hadn't thought about Rimini
Is that the colour you have coming in? The local dealer also threw a spanner in the works by showing me an 05 plate FFRR S/C in Tonga with 24500 miles on it for the same price as the TDv8 RRS and they were very keen to deal that for my RRS TDv6 SE! Must admit that with it's privacy glass Tonga looks really nice on the FF!........................ and to think some poor soul must have lost something like £30k on it in not even 2 years.
