2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Range rover sport, problem with lights

I have a problem with my side lights, and instrument lights not working when the master light switch is in the side light position.

Has anyone else had this problem, I have searched the interweb high and low, but cant find a thing

Anyone else had the same problem?

Vehicle in question is 2005 RRS

Thought I'd seen something like this before so I've just done a search- but it was you six months ago! Did you try a new switch?

Lol, it was me, I have just tried a new switch, but still the same, but i am getting a bit panicky, as i have got MOT in a few weeks, it is very strange, as everything works as it should in the auto position, side lights are on, and all the instrument, and cabin lights as well, so it cant be a fuse, (which i have checked)
