There should also be some info on the screen. Turn it off and start it again . Yellow is a warning, red is danger . |

As Fletcher says, it first displays a big warning triangle and more information in the middle and then just a small triangle at the top. I got my first yesterday in the middle of a journey: Blind Spot Sensor Blocked (I know it wasn't). Blind Spot Monitoring, Closing Vehicle Sensing and Reverse Traffic Detection didn't work for the rest of the journey is it had shutdown those subsystems. After stopping and returning to the car in a few hours it had cleared and all related systems worked fine. I read on a different forum that this can be cleared without stopping the engine by disabling and then re-enabling these features in the Driving Features menu.
