The stealerships I called really didn't have any answers - each person just passed me on to the next who was just as clueless.

You can try car care plan who underwrite the LR warranty, or go with warranty direct who will be more expensive but have a good payout rate (apparently) and cover wear and tear if my memory serves me correctly. Not sure if CCP do personal policies however..... 2010 TDV8 |

Yep, that's the other option. Given some of the large bills that canbe incurred, personally I sleep better with a warranty for the horrible stuff (turbos etc.) 2010 TDV8 |

Agreed - but warranty companies will wriggle and wriggle any way they can to avoid paying out not to mention the paper chase and loss of your vehicle whilst your in dispute with them. Add to that the repairers frustration due to having your vehicle sat in their workshop/ compound and you have the potential for a very trusting time of it. Speaking from experience here. It's a personal choice of course. As with all insurance policies it's a gamble one way or the other. |

Yer ya right when I went into a stealer to find out about warranty they said the car will need a 185 check first there must be no outstanding work to be done. You can always phone up LR warranty direct sorry I have not got the phone number to hand. |
