Looks good, did you remove before painting or do all while in place?

Mine need doing but, they are far worse that yours and it's a proper wire brush job before painting Sad

I just did my ones last week, I used a wire brush on the end of a drill to get the worst off, and they were not that bad.
Then used brake cleaner spray to get any dust off along with a small hand wire brush.
Next masked (frog tape) of the bits I did not want paint to get on.
Two coats of high temp paint then applied - job done,
I still need to do the back.
The worst parts was getting the RRS up on axle stands as I wanted to do the front two at the same time as the paint I used was mixed with hardener so did not want to stop and start. Lot of Landcruisers now sold
Audi TT 240 Sport now sold for.
RRS 2.7 HSE Now sold for.

Frax, pretty much same process you used.
I also did two coats of Bilt Hammer Hydrate 80 before painting.
Only did one wheel at a time tho, took two full weekends! ____________________

Did mine in situ, taped off the delicate bits first! Wire brush attached to power drill worked a treat! ____________________

I did both my previous RRS. Wire brush on drill and masking tape. I used Engine lacquer, a lot cheaper than the Paint advertised for use on callipers, and just as good. Very Happy Very Happy itisme

Like most RRS owners my wheel hubs began rusting within the 1st year!

Lookers LR were not interested in my complaint and refused to deal with it under warranty.

Is this very much a LR issue because I don't notice it on other makes to anywhere near the same degree?
