Now a few days later I have "restricted performance" triangle. I assume they may be related IE low charge is causing the message

How do I charge my battery please?

I would check your alternator charge voltage first, Start her up and put a volt meter on the positive and negative battery poles, you should get about 14v if it is not reading at least 13v your alternator requires changing.
To charge the battery just connect the charger, red clip to positive and black to negative.
Low power will give you all sorts of problems. Lot of Landcruisers now sold

Just to add here, for a facelift vehicle, it is essential that the negative lead is not connected to the battery terminal - so the Battery Monitoring System (BMS) will see the charge. Any ground point will do fine. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
