I have a 2008 2.7. Bottom tailgate has been a bit stick lately, need to push button and lift with right hand side grip only
Now the latch on door won't click closed even when you try with a screw driver, just closes but falls open again.. No resistance.
This means door won't close. When you close latch by fingers or screw driver the lower auto door closer works fine with door wide open. Need to push both dash buttons to reset.
Because I can't fool it into thinking it is closed with a screw driver I can't therefore open the upper window as it thinks the lower door is open which means I can't remove the trim to access the lock and or any wiring
Anyone had an issue like this. Just about to do a major road trip in two weeks time so need to get sorted asap
