Would a 2010 steering wheel fit a 2007 RRS?

I've read some topics on the Internet to say that the later steering wheels would fit the earlier models if you swapped the airbag and switches over. Is this correct? I'm not bothered about adding steering wheel paddles.

Yes It can be done I did it to a 09plate pre-facelift car. Actually fitted Paddle Shift, Heated Steering Wheel and the ACC Control. However it was quite a expensive as I used all new part's which came from Dan at Duckworths and Colin from Blackbox Solutions and would of been in excess of 1k. Obviously if you second used hand parts it would be cheaper.

There are few post on here about it and a great deal more on the Disco Forum.

I have to admit it did look the part when done.

Cheers
Col

Cheers for that Col.

Just to clarify, if I bought a 2010 steering wheel rim, I could swap over my current airbag and switches without a problem?

Cheers

Done the same with my own D3. 2010 wheel with flappy paddles needs new circuit boards and flappy paddle kit.

There are extra kits for ACC and Heated functions Thumbs Up

Cheers for the advice guys. I was considering going for a Hawke piano black one which is at the clearance price of £139 however the cost of the new buttons and circuit boards would outweigh the savings so I might just stick with a 2005 replacement if needs be.

Flappy paddle upgrade

is a new rotary coupler required when one fits flappy paddles RRS or D4
