Same here (US-spec RRS), the two rear map lights are the same but inverted. They do not turn on with the rest of the courtesy lights, as the manual states as well. My dealer was joking that these are some of the "little things" that were left off the RRS but are standard in the big Range Rover (things such as these, or one courtesy light - rather than two - in the trunk area, or manual tilt/telescoping steering instead of power), otherwise "it would be much harder to justify the higher price of the RR"... |

thats strange, my RRS that I picked up this past Saturday has two reading maps oriented the same way with the switch being closer to the rear doors (left on pass side, and right on drivers side)

The switches point to the same directions on each side, but they work in opposite ways. I know it is nitpicking, but you can see the cost cutting... What would it take to flip the switch around so they work the same way on both sides? I also think these map lights should turn on with the rest of the courtesy lights, it is awfully dark back there with just the puddle light on the doors. |
