Sorry if i've posted in the wrong place but obviously mods can move to the correct place.

I'm not really good at explaining but this is the only way i can describe what my Range Rover does. It doesn't happen all the time, for example if i'm driving slow but then accelerate it makes a noise like a manual would when you don't change gears at the right time. I took it for a service today and they said they couldn't find a fault with it. Does anyone know what it could be?

Hi to be honest what your describing doesn't make a lot of sense. I would take it to a main dealer or good indi and go out with the tech and show them what you mean .. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

I know it's very difficult to explain and it can only be shown if driven which they did when they tested it but like i said they couldn't find a fault. It kind of sounds like its revving up and doesn't shift as quick when accelerate, but this never happened before. Only just recently. I did take it to Land Rover so i'm all out of ideas!

Is it loosing drive when the fault happens?

Next time it does it, check the dash to see if the little "D" has disappeared from the speedo
