2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Buckingham Blue

Mirror puddle light bulb change

What is the secret to remove the transparent cover from the bottom of the external mirror on an 2006 RRS? It sits very tight and I don't see where to put the blade to lift it off and change the bulb. My LEDs are waiting... Regards etc.,
