What models are forum members buying?

Hi all

Having run a HSE Dynamic now for 2 trouble free years I am looking at ordering my next RRS.

I am seriously considering dropping down to a HSE as I have to admit using dynamic mode very infrequently. This will save a large chunk of cash which I can then spend on drugs and hookers.........

What are other folk ordering?

Borrowed a dealer HSE for a few days and then ordered a HSE Dynamic - no contest!

All depends on where you live and the roads you have access to. If its just in town or the school run a HSE would probably work. We live 125 miles from the nearest town/city of any size, all of our day-to-day driving is on rural roads and some fantastic deserted 'A' roads (when the cursed tourists have gone). We found the HSE wallowed far too much in fast corners whereas two weeks and a day with the Dynamic it has proved worth every penny of the extra.

HSE DYNAMIC . Lots of toys new wheels and bits of paintwork done to my spec . Still tried to keep the tradition rr look .

Gave up my 2015 RRS and awaiting my 2016 RRS - both Autobiography with Stealth pack -
Currently in a HSE Dynamic - and miss the extra 1400 cc of the SDV8. as well as a myriad of toys which I clearly had become very accustomed to.

Has anyone gone from the Dynamic to the standard HSE?

If so what are your thoughts on the difference between the 2 vehicles?

I'm going from a 2014 HSE to a 2016 A/B. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more...

The problem with asking this question on an enthusiasts forum is that you will get a skew towards higher speed dynamic preferences. The average driver doing typical shopping trips and the school run will be fine with the standard HSE but these people will not even know of the existence of this site. It's like asking if you should get 22 inch wheels.

You should choose based on your usage profile and preferences. Regards

Of course it's OK to ask anything you want but you need to take into account the likely outcome.

You might like to know that it seems that the MY16 HSE does not have the "virtual" instrument panel. Would this make you order the Dynamic irrespective of the driving benefits? Regards

What? It doesn't have a digital TFT screen for the speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge etc?

I have a MY16 HSE and it does have a virtual instrument panel 2008 Factory HST- Sold

i think you will find a lot of people who are not enthusiasts join sites like this just for information, I'm not an enthusiast as such I just like the sport and joined here before I bought one for the information. I think most people do this now a days before they buy 2008 Factory HST- Sold

Have been on the LR configuration site and it looks to me as if the HSE does come with the TFT instrument screen.
