Heated Windscreen not working

I recently had a problem with the relay for my heater motor. Lost for Words very kindly advised me to check the relay , which indeed was the problem.

Over the last few years my heated windscreen has had some of the elements not working, however it still did partially work. Now it has stopped working altogether. I have checked the two engine compartment fuses no,s 15 and 18, all okay. I have also changed the relay. I now want to check with a multimeter that i have 12 volts at the windscreen connections under the A pillars. Is it okay to remove the A pillar trim without disturbing the Air Bags beneath?

Is there any other fuses or relays that i have missed that need checking?

Thanks for any guidance you can give

Keith

I expect it was that large stone that hit your screen and broke it Shocked

Yes no problems with Airbag's. Not totally sure about stone hitting screen being responsible as Heater Element is actually in two halves a R/H Off Side and L/H Near Side hence why you have two fuses under bonnet. Would have thought it unlikely stone could damage both elements at same time but is always possible I suppose.

Cheers
