We ordered the ebony morzine as we saw the car in the show room and it was a bit like alcantara , it had a pile , as I touched it you could see where I had touched it until I brushed it back over with the back of my fingers . The one we have is more like a material .

Morzine is the cloth one and Alston is the alcantara one.

Just received an email from my dealer explaining that what we payed extra for was the colour not the finish , they can upgrade if we are not happy though .

If RRS2 is anything like my last Evoque then the front screen and the panoramic roof both had to be taken out to get the headliner down - I felt that as the front screen and the panoramic roof make up a huge amount of the body's strength I said that I would just have to live with the rattle in the headliner that required it to be taken down as the risk of the body twisting and getting the headliner back up as the factory originally put it in would be very difficult. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

IMHO, Morzine is pretty poor quality for a vehicle at this price. It's no different to you'd get in a £30k Evoque. Alston, however is very luxurious and only surpassed by the leather one I have in the L405 which sadly isn't available on RRS.

The Alston is also VERY thin...managed to scratch mine through to the base layer when re-installing my full height dog guard at the weekend. Its barely noticable to be fair....but I know its there 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography
