Mine is also like the configurator pic as I ordered load through rear seats. Dealer told me this option not only gets you "load though" but also better armrest. There are cup holders and a small storage compartment when you fold the armrest down (although I am not sure if that is the same without load through). No load through on my HSE Dynamic but I do have cupholders and a storage net of some sort in the armrest.

So, if you have RSE you get a another design with a lidded box to store the remote! How many combinations of armrest does the RRS have? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

do you think the load through makes the middle squab higher, i.e. slightly less usable as a middle seat - poking around one, i did notice the middle seat is less usable than the RRS1 - is that fair? got 3 kids, 2 older ones, one still in a booster.. currently D4 HSE 2013 SDV6, 1986 911 3.2 Carrera.. |

yep Harwoods, i went in there the other day, having vowed never to re-enter that place a few years back!! They did sell a Defender for me, and did that well, but they had a couple of really poor (and rude!) sales guy a few years back - one guy laughed down the phone at me when i was very up front and told him what spec, age and price I wanted to pay for a Discovery (at which price there were loads on the LR used site), never called back, ended up buying one from upppp north from another LR dealer - the same happened with the Defender. But the recent guy was very good - and I hear from mates they have turned a bit of a corner..?? The problem is the coverage of Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, bits of Surrey aren't short of LR/Range Rover buyers so...

I guess it depends on the age/height of the kids as well - Guy Salmon in Aylesford (awful dealership) might be close enough for you to check it out, or ask for an extended test drive maybe?

Used mine 5 up and it is true that the middle seat is not as comfy as the other two or even the middle seat in the old shape RRS. Solution was to put my son's booster seat in the middle and the adult passenger on the side. A bit fiddly to buckle up the middle seat belt in this configuration because the receiver wants to fold down into its slot and under the booster seat. Still better than seating someone in a relatively uncomfortable seat. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
