Engine system fault/2006

Was driving my 2006 RRS, when i put my foot down heavy for some speed,(i normal use manual for this,)when i did, the engine cut out and "engine system fault came up, so i did what we normally do with computors, turn it off, turn it back on,no problem ,driving ok,so i thought, try it again see what happens?,same thing, cut out.
Suspect fuel pump?, can't handle asking for that much fuel,or the egr ? valve.
Not a mechanic so i could do with a push in the right direction.
Mark

Turbo boost sensor. Would give them symptoms.

You'll need diagnostics to check for any faults thrown up by dodgy sensors.

As said above, fuel, boost or electrical issues are all possible causes. Let us know what you get on diagnostics. Thumbs Up

Are you getting any black smoke? Question

Less likely to be a boost leak then, but we'll see what comes up. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
