United Kingdom

As we all know no manufacturer has been lying they have only been economical with the truth. Anyone who believes the fuel consumption figures of manufacturers. Need to smell the coffee and come into the real world. For years people who have owned VW, Audi, Porches have been happy with their cars and have replaced them with the same marque. They know their fuel consumption figures. Many are not tree huggers and why should we be taxed by VED surely it should be on fuel used and people such as myself would pay more than someone who drives just a few miles a year. As for electric cars how big is their carbon footprint to produce and dispose of batteries plus the fact we will be short of electricity as there are not enough power stations for the needs of domestic power.
