The first thing you have to do is find out what oil was used in your gearbox, without the repairing garage knowing you have an issue |

I'll assume 9.5 litres A drain and refill only drains out 4.5 litres... You need to make sure the correct spec of oil has been used, as irreparable as damage may have occurred. If you, or he can tell us what oil it was, we can check if it is suitable. If he has used the wrong oil, then he is liable, hence my suggestion of finding out the oil used first, before informing him of your issue The engine management fault is likely not related, but will need the fault codes read first Most likely a split turbo hose or blocked fuel filter |

I'd try changing the brake switch. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Would that have any impact on the gearbox though I mean will it effect the driving and make the car slow down a lot more than usual. Also it's saying accelerator pedal miss aligned too so would you change that aswell.

Before spending any more money on diagnostics, I would just fit a new switch: http://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/xkb500030...-738-p.asp

Yes; just a few screws, old one twists out, new one twists in, and all done. Only thing to note is not to release the plunger before fitting, or press the brake pedal when fitting it. It's located behind the top of the brake pedal.
Yes, just a "brake switch" or "brake light switch". Part number is XKB500030 as per the link. I recommend you buy it from Advanced Factors, but if you want to get it elsewhere/locally then bear in mind LR will charge you more like £25 for it...
