INCONTROL & IOS9

Now it may or may not IOS9 - it could just as easily be the most recent versions of the JLR apps and we have more data -

So In Control APPS - Now for any app that has a password (Glympse / Parkopedia / Mobile Day) it appears with a key an prompts you to reopen the app when stationary - Even iff all apps are open, only the last app to be open when INCONTROL APPS is loaded is recognised and usable, the others need you to "restart" the app again.

The whole point of the interface is not to use the phone and have access via the screen - A poor show in doesn't allow this -

IN CONTROL REMOTE -
With the new battery feature in Setting Battery - I am ashamed to report that in a 24 hour period the 3rd highest utilisation of battery power comes from In Control Remote - Worse it shows that is for 3 minutes on screen activity and 2 hours in the background - God knows what it was doing for 2 hours out of 24 hours. !

The top two were Mail and Safari, which both had active use of over an hour each -

Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

For in control remote try going to Settings - Privacy - Location Services and then change from Always to Never. It doesn't seem to impact functionality of the app but may improve battery drain when app is in the background. It may also be worth turning off background refresh. It is normally the GPS features that impact on battery life most.
