Sorry to bear bad news, but I'm afraid the lights aren't cross compatible (and the ECUs use different CANBUS bitrates) and AFAIK, there isn't yet a way to convert them. You can have them disabled to remove the warning. Thumbs Up

When I facelifted my 2005 Supercharged I fitted 12my black edition front cornering AfS headlights - no issues at all Sad the parking sensors again was 12my with the loom from Powerful UK.
Therefore - are the lights the genuine Valeo ? Do you still have the old lights ? Try reconnecting to remove the error then try again ? Did you disconnect the battery when connecting looms ? You don't need to update any ECU when replacing the PDC. It seems to me you may have a faulty sensor or trapped - faulty loom - again are they original - was they tested pre installation? I apologise that there is no direct solution Wink

Sorry, ignore my previous post - getting mixed up with which forum I'm on! Embarassed ISTR the RRS ones being different, and then Peachy's post suggests they do work. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Just been digging up a couple of old threads; all the vehicles except the D3 comunicate via LIN bus, so it may be that there are differences in the commands? Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

hi

hi guys thankyou for the replies much appreciated, i have tried the old lights back on the car this afternoon and the light on the dash goes away and the lights look up down etc, plugged the new ones in and the light comes back on,

my code on my lights is CH32-13W030-AA is says L320 HEADLAMP-XENON-CORNERING-UK SPEC-L on the label and they are made by Valeo,06/11/12

are these the correct lights for my car?

as for the looms the battery has never been disconnected at all i have just plugged the looms in and the sensors, the sensors have been colour coded so maybe this is an issue? i have checked for trapped looms etc and all seems okay, the pdc light just flashes maybe i should try a newer pdc module YWC500730?

I will try and upload some pictures of the before and after facelift

many thanks for your replies guys, it is nice to be back in a sport although i still have the vogue
