1st maintenance on my RRS 2011 TDV3.0

Just semi finalized my service morning on the RRS. Planned actions:

Interiorfilter -> Done
Airfilter -> Done
Diesel Fuel Filter -> in progress (can't find the filter, need help)
Oil change -> in progress (seems to need an oil extractor ??, no drain plug available)

Car details

Transmission 6 SPD AUTO TRANS ZF 6HP28
Engine 3.0L 24V DOHC V6 TC DSL

I would be helped with:
- the correct Workplace Service Manual (WSM-15959)
- battery info (Preventive) WSM-17673
- procedure of an oilchange (how to)
- location of the fuel filter on the car...

Thnx in advance

Re Fuel filter, just drained mine on my 2011 RRS but didn't replace it, just loosened yellow drain plug to check for water etc.
Its under vehicle on the drivers side on right hand drive vehicles.
Remove four bolts holding large cover under transmission.
Fuel filter is hidden behind heat shield which is held by three bolts.
Remove plug for water sensor and unscrew filter.
Its very difficult to access!

Thnx so far

From the front of the car to the back we have indeed some protection:

In the front: Under motor -> 8 or 10 bolts
Greagbox -> 2 small and 3 x 11mm bolts (plate has a heatshield on the backside)
On the right side of the car (also for the LH version) you have a long coverplate, possibly hold with 4 bolts.
Is this the one you refering to ? (it runs approx all the way towards the weel in the back)

What about the oil change ? How is that executed ?

Its in front of the fuel tank. LHD may be different, not sure.
Oil change is by sucking out the oil through the tube towards the front of engine.
Its on the drivers side on right hand drive vehicles.
I use a boat oil change vacuum unit. (Holds 6 litres)
These are available from most marine shops.

Ordered PELA - Oil extractor 6,5 l today which will come in a few days.. I did see this tube (which ofcourse) is indeed on the right side with a bayonet mount cap on top. It is very likely that you mention this tube.

Will make photo's and add this to this post, so others can used this information also

Yes, the PELA one is the one that I use.
Drain tube on the motor is small diameter so I use a piece of rubber tube between PELA tube and the top of drain tube on the motor. (On cars with a dipstick the small PELA tube fits down the dipstick tube as it did on my D3 but the drain tube on the 3 litre motor has a very small bore and you just join up to the PELA with a piece of rubber tube.)
