Never had the time to go into a dealership myself but discussions with friends and colleagues suggest that every car is much much cheaper over there.

But the speed limits are even lower than the UK (in most states, if not all) Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Agree that VAT and road tax is an issue in the UK and that US price does not include any sales tax.

Are you referring to the GBP/USD exchange rate? In which case a rate of 1.4200 would imply a weaker sterling and cheaper exports, and probably an even cheaper SVR to the end customer in the USA. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project. DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights. TO DO: color code sills and pillars. |

Yes, I was referring to GBP / USD particularly in the context of consumer price comparison.

I was going to say I was jealous of how in the UK you have many more options and can order them one by one instead of being forced to buy packages as in the US. Also you guys can get wade sensing, dual view screens, and the alcantara headliner, not to mention many more engine and trim line options. Best of all you don't have to wait for the vehicle to travel across the Atlantic .
