Can someone help me out with this one pls, bought a dedicated 7 pin wiring loom from Pf Jones in Manchester part Number 19190501RC this harness was for RRS up to 2009, I bought this as my RRS was built in Sept 2008 but registered new South of England around March 2009, then brought over to NZ 2011, Have had this harness fitted by Auto Electrics Garage all went well with fitting(all plug and play) come to connect to caravan with LED lights and nothing working at all on caravan lights, so told you need module fitted due LED lights, so bought inline module from Australia which connects to vehicle trailer plug and caravan plug(wiring for trailer is same for Aus/NZ) still no lights or indicator's working on caravan but now the trailer light flashes in time with indicators on dash, but not flashing on caravan, Now went on web page on towbar uk and on there listing for RRS from chassis number 9A0000 on and mine being 9A202397 it should have been loom number 19190507RC for sept 2009 on but mine being built sept 2008 got me confused, can someone tell me please if from my vin number the vehicle has to be coded to enable tow bar electrics, rang PF Jones and they mentioned the 19190507RC would not fit my vehicle.
I am just lost now with the vehicle has to be coded or not and is this problem with it. Cheers

Think I may know the problem, the wiring loom I just bought from uk is for uk only as the side lights have 2 wires n/s and o/s in the loom where as here in NZ there is only 1 wire that does both o/s and n/s lights, not sure if the auto electrician has connected the two side light wires together to make the one wire required going into the 12n socket and this is causing problem, back of my head says go to LR dealers here and buy the correct harness for this country.
Anyone in NZ/Australia had this problem with buying UK wiring harness and sorted it. Cheers
