I have been thinking about trading in my 2.7 TDV6 2007 in the next year and getting a 2010 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography.
I have been looking around to try and judge what they cost but finding it hard due to the amount that are not real Autobiography. A lot of them look good saying that.
I would like to find one with around 50k or less, I do not do high miles as use my Defender as my daily run-around. Sadly I cannot afford a new one.
My question is how do I know a real Autobiography.
Do all Autobiography have two tone seats ?
Are Autobiography listed as such on the V5 ?
Are there any disadvantages with an Autobiography.
I am finding it hard to find much information on these – plenty info on the Sport.
Any help / tips would be great.

So if it's not listed as an autobiography it's not a real one.

Good advice. I had to do a HPI to check a HST i was looking at was in fact a real HST.

You are never sure these days, There are some real good copies.

On the HST, checking the rear diff is fitted as an e-diff would be a good start - I think HST has the locking rear diff as standard. The likelihood of a fake HST having an e-diff fitted must be very low as very few RRS had it fitted as an optional extra. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Well I have just sold the 2.7 tdv6 2007 today and got hold of a 2012 3.0 stdv6 AUTOBIOGRAPHY SPORT
It is still at the garage getting a full service and a good polish + it will be getting a new MOT.
Hope to pick it up Friday or it could be Monday/Tuesday next week.

Will do, might get tomorrow if I am lucky, was at the garage today and it was getting a new MOT - Service tomorrow.
If they get it done on time I will be over and collect.

Well got her today and what a day, It had a bad kerbed wheel when I went to see it which I did not like so asked if he would swap my Stormer wheels onto it, he said he would - I like the stormers.

Went round today and the back wheel would not come off - lock nut was rounded - after an hour of trying they gave up and gave me a brand new set with new tyres

She was clean till I came up our dirt track road.
